I'm not sure if there's a topic about this subject already, but oh well. Has anyone read the books Eragon or Eldest by Christopher Paolini? If so, what did you think? Personally, I loved these books, so much more so than the movie Eragon, which came out on DVD recently. The books have just enough description of characters and scenery for me to have a clue about what's going on, plus the narration is wonderful. Anyone know where I can find the book Eldest in Braille?

I read those books. I have them on tape. I thought they were pretty good. The movie was ok I guess, but of course the books are always going to be better.

Oh, hell yes the books are better. *smiles* In fact, I didn't like the movie because I thought too much was left out. When I heard the previews for it, I thought it would be as long and as exciting as Lord of the Rings. But anyway, does anyone know when the final book will be out?

I have read Eragon and Eldest on cd. The narrator was awesome, and the books were very good. Its amazing Christipher was only fifteen when began writing erragon. I can't wait for the third book to come out. As of yet, none of the books in the series are web braille. I haven't seen them in braille format.

I have read the eldest and they were really good because they had so much detail and I always found myself wanting to find out what happens next I hope the third book comes out soon.

I read the first book, and am part way into the second one. I rather enjoyed the first one, but the second one so far hasn't seemed to be as good a book. But I'll reserve final judgement until I finish it.

Does anyone know what the third and final installment is called?

I loved both books. I am wondering if the third book will also be a 6 letter word that starts with the letter E or if he will simply call it inheritance.

The third book is said to be published on the twenty-third of September 2008, and there's going to be a fourth book. By the end of those two books, one or two major characters will die.

I haven't heard anything about the third book except that it's supposed to have six letters in it like the first two did.

One or two major characters? That sucks. (But hey, that happened in HP too, so why am I complaining?)
I'm right now in the process of reading Eragon. I'm almost done with it, and then I'm going to starton eldest...So far, I really like it. It's kinda a pity that it took me so long to start reading. My friend had been pestering me to read it for a year, and I never did get around to reading it until now...:D

Hey I read both books and I liked them, I was thinking about looking at the movie, but I wanted to know if the movie was good, but so many people said that it really sucked. There are so many things that I want to see in the thoird book.

I only read the first one before being confused. So, If I find the second one in braille, I'll give it a chance. I might try the movie, I don't know.
